Creative Arts for 3-5 year olds 4 week workshop: Create a music video and perform with Octopretzel!!!!

This is a unique introduction to Performing Arts for young music-lovers.
The classes will take place in a beautiful yurt in North Berkeley.
Through movement, music, and make-believe, Sarita will invite the children to explore exciting new possibilities for self-expression.
The first 3 classes will include Drama activities, singing, "free choreography", self-awareness games, skit inventing, character development, and more.
The last class will be a filming for a MUSIC VIDEO for the song "If I Were a...." (or "...Would You Sing Me?"). Children will bring their own talents and ideas to the music video.
The young troupe will also have the option to perform with Octopretzel at Ashkenaz on
Sunday, October 9th at 3:00pm. (This is optional. Some will feel shy to be up on the stage).
All of the young participants will be given an Octopretzel shirt to wear in the video, on stage, and then keep.
Children 3-5 years old (possibly older 2s, feel free to call to discuss).
The following four Wednesdays: September 14th, 21st, 28th, October 9th (from 2:00 to 3:00pm).
Location: A beautiful yurt in North Berkeley.
Optional Performance: Ashkenaz, Berkeley, October 9th, 3:00pm
Cost: $75
A note about parent participation: A goal would be for the children to feel safe enough to participate in the workshop with out Mom or Dad in the yurt. That being said, if your child would prefer for you to be inside, I encourage parents and caregivers to participate in the activities as part of the group and to have fun with us. Please no food or cell phones inside the yurt. Parents are free to "hang out" on the grass outside, go off to run an errand, or participate in our workshop reflecting each family's needs.
Space is limited.
Please contact Sarita for questions: Saritasong@gmail.com
Or Enroll online at: ENROLLMENT (disregard section about transportation. This group will be staying put :) )
